THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE A MORE COHESIVE ASSOCIATION AMONG THOSE ENGAGED IN THIS INDUSTRY AND FOR GENERAL MUTUAL PROTECTION; TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP THE DRYWALL AND PLASTERERS INDUSTRIES; TO DISCOURAGE UNFAIR COMPETITION; TO PROMOTE JUST AND EQUITABLE PRINCIPLES IN BUSINESS CONDUCT; TO ADJUDICATE BY ARBITRATION OR OTHERWISE, ALL DIFFERENCES AMONG MEMBERS OR BETWEEN MEMBERS AND OTHERS; TO ASSOCIATE AND CONFER WITH OTHER BODIES FOR MUTUAL PROTECTION, ALL TO THE INTEREST AND PURPOSE THAT MEMBERSHIP IN THE ORGANIZATION SHALL BE AN ASSURANCE TO THE PUBLIC OF SKILL, HONORABLE REPUTATION AND FIDELITY.

The objectives of the HWCIA shall be to represent membership and promote the welfare of the Wall and Ceiling Industry with recognition and acceptance of the Industry Standards. To provide the membership with assistance communications educational programs and services for the purpose of creating success for themselves as members and improving fellowship. To promote just and equitable principles in business conduct by the members in their relations with each other and the public and to effect harmony in the industry. The Hawaii Wall Ceiling Industry Association is looking for skilled drywall installers finishers and cement plasterers.
