Home Page TFLA Mission Statement The Transportation Foundation of Los Angeles TFLA is a nonprofit organization 501c3 originally established by the MTA in 1991 for the purpose of providing education training and the advancement of knowledge that will promote the ongoing development of transportation and related systems. Our mission is to provide internships training and administer programs that improve transportation and municipal services. TFLA is working towards a better future for everyone focusing on improvement of transportation and infrastructure systems by providing educational technological and economic opportunities.
