Our Mission Invest. We invest in Black lives by providing scholarships to Black midwifery students. Our Mission To improve prenatal birth and postpartum outcomes for Black families through investment in the education and training of Black midwives. One of the darkest moments in US history was the systematic eradication of the African American midwife from her community resulting in a legacy of birth injustices.
