The House was home to the HarveyBaker family for over 100 years before being restored to the 1870s era and established as a nonprofit corporation. Today it is the oldest building in Salinas serving as a history art and cultural center for the community. OUR MISSION The First Mayors House the front porch of Salinas provides educational and cultural programs that showcase our history and the paths that have led us to the present Adopted June 2020.
