Boojum Institute for Experiential Education
Outdoor Adventures by Boojum works to connect individuals with nature and each other through hands-on learning experiences. The Boojum Institute, founded in 1975, is dedicated to encouraging constructive interaction with others and a deeper understanding of nature, ourselves and our communities through experiential, adventure and environmental education. Boojum programs encourage an understanding and appreciation of ecology and natural history, teach students outdoor skills, and unlock potential and inspire personal growth in its participants. Boojum provides low-income, at risk youth across California with a comprehensive and integrated curriculum of experiential, adventure and environmental education programs in all of the major ecosystems in our state.
