Equity in Action Way Foundation
The Equity in Action Way Foundation operates exclusively to collaborate with impacted communities and partners across sectors to reveal and address complex problems. We will elevate how community members are creating knowledge in their everyday lives and identify concrete changes that make a difference. We will create intentional space for partners to engage in ongoing learning and redirect power to community to name and solve problems on their own terms. We seek to rebalance power by convening new tables that bring stakeholders together across difference and grow community capacity.

Our Origin Our work is inspired by and rooted in the leadership and scholarship of Dr. Brittany Lewis who developed the Equity in Action process model over years of engagement with hundreds of impacted community members. This model intentionally redistributes power to the most impacted communities from the start of a research process to the final decisionmaking.
