We are dedicated to creating a vibrant welcoming space that honors the strength and resilience of its surrounding communities through Inclusive Programming Ongoing Beautification Intentional Community Engagement The Joe Louis Greenway Partnership is the longterm steward of the Joe Louis Greenway a trusted partner for residents in the cities that it serves. Explore the life legacy of Joe Louis a legendary boxer who broke barriers and became a symbol of hope and equality in segregated America. The Joe Louis Greenway is a 29mile recreational pathway that will connect residents and visitors across 23 neighborhoods in Detroit Highland Park Hamtramck and Dearborn through a combination of new trails onstreet protected bike lanes and links to existing trails in Southeast Michigan.
