Hooker Ranch Equine Refuge strives to rescue the most critical and at-risk equines from slaughter in Mexico and Canada. We strive to rehabilitate said equines from starvation, neglect, disease and injury. We evaluate and train each equine to provide them their best opportunity for adoption into a forever home. For equines too ill or injured to be rehomed, we provide a work free retirement, or euthanasia if a pain free retirement cannot be provided.
