The Elf Louise Christmas Project is dedicated to providing a little bit of joy to Bexar County's less fortunate children. Get into the spirit of Christmas! The Elf Louise Christmas Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to providing gifts to the children and adult children (developmentally disabled adults) of San Antonio who might otherwise go without Christmas. The gifts represent much more than a toy to open on Christmas morning. When given thoughtfully, gifts can enhance a child’s self-esteem and sense of worth. A gift, no matter how big or small, conveys that the child is cared for, loved, and valued. The opportunity to enjoy gifts like their peers can help foster a more balanced self-image, teaching the significance of empathy, kindness, and generosity. For adult children, the gifts symbolize love and inclusion within the family and community, reinforce that they are valued, and foster a sense of belonging.
