Health Physics Society - Columbia Chapter SPECIALISTS IN RADIATION PROTECTION in Southeastern Washington State Who We Are The Columbia Chapter of Health Physics Society CCHPS is a professional organization whose members are specialists in radiation safety. The CCHPS offers its members educational and training opportunities through conferences workshops and technical meetings. Every year the CCHPS members participate in various public outreach activities including Columbia Basin Engineering Science Fair STEMCon and Celebration of Science. Our primary goal is to increase public awareness about the benefits and risks associated with ionizing radiation.
