Hand in Hand Family Mentorship
Hand in Hand receives referrals from the Department of Health and Welfare, City Light and Family Advocates, of families or individuals that are in need of an added support system to find stability and connection with trusted individuals to guide them through challenging times. The power of friendship and caring relationships are making a difference in our community. When people feel that someone sincerely cares about them, they begin to fix themselves. While change doesn't happen overnight, or even months, and sometimes years, what does happen is that these struggling families become networked into a community that looks out for them, problem solves together, and points them to needed resources.
