Last week, SB376 was amended in a work session and made it out of the State Senate Commerce and Labor Committee. We would like to thank the newest primary sponsor of the bill, former CCFD Chief Senator Steinbeck, and all of the members of the Senate Commerce and Labor Committee for for passing the bill out of committee unanimously. For those who have yet to hear about SB376, it would ensure that firefighters and police officers diagnosed with occupational diseases have access to the care they need. It also ensures that the financial burden of treatment does not fall on the shoulders of those who have already sacrificed so much for their communities.   This bill will now move to the Senate floor to voted on. #pffnevada #NVfirefighters #makingNVbetter (fb)
