River Heritage Conservancy, Inc. is a 502(c)(3) organization dedicated to creating, improving, and sustaining exceptional parks and landscapes with natural and historic resources unique to the Falls of the Ohio area while advancing our region’s quality of life and natural environment through public-private partnerships. The Conservancy’s Origin Park project involves reclaiming a forgotten industrial landscape along the Ohio River from Jeffersonville through Clarksville to New Albany, Indiana. With abundant historical and natural resources, Origin Park will provide an unparalleled nature experience as well as opportunities to discover and honor the rich cultural heritage of the site, and will be a self-sustaining park that will be safe, clean, and attractive.
