Welcome to our Community The Morningside Heights Community Coalition MHCC was founded by concerned neighbors in 2016 to protect and improve our unique neighborhood in Northern Manhattan. In the face of ongoing gentrification and institutional expansion we work to keep our community authentic affordable and diverse. We welcome neighbors from all walks of life and are inspired by their active commitment to our shared and muchloved home. MHCC is led by a volunteer board of directors composed of six longtime residents of Morningside Heights.
