Home Anouncements Home Welcome Welcome to the website of the Descendants of Valentine Hollingsworth Senior Society DVHSS. Valentine and his family came to America in December 1682 as part of William Penns Quakers. They arrived in New Castle part of the Pennsylvania colony in todays Delaware and were soon thereafter granted a nearly 1000 acre plot of land in what is today Wilmington DE. There Valentine and his family put down roots and over the coming centuries his descendants have spread out all over America.
