New Mexicans for Civil Rights – New Mexicans for Civil Rights is your resource for advancing the civil rights of New Mexicans New Mexicans For Civil Rights Mission Statement The New Mexicans for Civil Rights is a group organized to oppose the rising violation of constitutional freedoms at workplaces throughout our country. These freedoms include but are not limited to the broad freedom of conscience given in the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America which says Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Freedom of conscience allows Americans to exercise the rights of freedom of religion freedom of speech and association. 12 These rights along with other unalienable rights under the Constitution and its Amendments need to be protected for all Americans.
