CALL 911 TO REPORT A MISSING PERSON Santa Cruz Search and Rescue Mission The mission of Santa Cruz County Search and Rescue is to advance knowledge and expertise of search and rescue in order to assist county state and federal officials and the general public during emergencies missing persons activities disasters or other similar incidents within Santa Cruz County California. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff39s Search and Rescue SAR team is a 501c3 nonprofit organization comprised of highly trained volunteers dedicated to serving the community by educating the public and searching rescuing and recovering missing persons in Santa Cruz County and across the State of California. Santa Cruz County Search and Rescue works closely with the Santa Cruz County Sheriff to professionally deploy technical experts when required.
