A majority of the worlds biologists now believe that if current trends continue half of all species of plants and animals living today will be extinct by midcentury. The general public however is almost entirely unaware of this crisis. Species Alliance is a nonprofit organization committed to raising public awareness of the mass extinction and its implications for humanity and the rest of the living world.
