The mission of the West Virginia Drug Intervention Institute is to reduce deaths in West Virginia from opioid and drug abuse. Learn more at: https://t.co/vokqN3ImM8. To reduce opioid and drug related deaths by preventing substance use through education, reducing overdose through training and distribution related to naloxone and other reversal agents, and supporting harm reduction and other drug response efforts. To fulfill its mission, the WVDII is carrying out activities under three objectives-education, collaboration, and prevention.
