Earl B. & Loraine H. Miller Foundation
Earl and Loraine Miller's love for the children of Long Beach prompted them to establish the Earl B. and Loraine H. Miller Foundation and to build the Miller Children's Hospital located on the campus of Memorial Medical Center in Long Beach. Since inception in 1967, the Foundation has maintained its focus on children and their health care needs within the Long Beach Community. The Board of Trustees conducted a "needs assessment" for the children of Long Beach; thus, adopting the concepts of "treating the whole child" and the World Health Organization's definition of health.
