Summer Collegiate Softball Association
Established in 2022, The Sunflower Softball League (SSL), a non-profit 501(c)3 summer collegiate softball league, brings nearly 100 college student-athletes from across the country to Kansas each summer. The U.S. has been saturated with summer college baseball, yet there are very few summer college softball leagues. So our goal is to provide a cost-effective opportunity for college softball players to come to communities in Kansas and play summer softball. Our founding board has over 40 years of fastpitch & summer college baseball experience, and an interest to provide women student-athletes with an opportunity to not only become better softball players, and also become better young women. We also offer life skills classes for all of our players.

It is with great sadness we announce there will not be a Sunflower Softball League during the summer of 2023. Our registration numbers were very low for this summer with only 13 players signed up. Therefore we have made the difficult decision to take this summer off and see what the next year brings.
