Lake Pillsbury Alliance
The Lake Pillsbury Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed to preserve Lake Pillsbury. We value Lake Pillsbury as the recreational and environmental centerpiece of the Mendocino National Forest, as an economic asset to Lake County, and as an important water resource for more than 600,000 municipal and agricultural users downstream in Mendocino, Sonoma and North Marin Counties. We support the protection of wildlife habitat and endangered species in the Lake Pillsbury Basin and along the Eel and Russian Rivers.

Lake Pillsbury Alliance Saving Lake Pillsbury Starts with you Learn More Preserving a natural and scenic treasure. Lake Pillsbury and the surrounding basin offer a rich habitat for wildlife and extensive recreational opportunities set against a backdrop of one of Northern Californias greatest landscapes. Nestled in the pines of the Mendocino National Forest Lake Pillsbury is formed by Scott Dam. Any proposal to remove the dam threatens the very existence of Lake Pillsbury and the many benefits it provides the region.
