IT SHALL BE THE MISSION OF THE CLACKAMAS COUNTY BUSINESS ALLIANCE TO PROMOTE AND ADVOCATE A HEALTHY BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT WITHIN CLACKAMAS COUNTY. TO FURTHER THIS MISSION, THE CORPORATION SHALL (I) ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN REGIONAL PUBLIC POLICY MAKING TO BUILD STRONGER REPRESENTATION FOR BUSINESS INTERESTS; (II) PROVIDE A UNIFIED VOICE FOR BUSINESS INTERESTS IN THE COUNTY; (III) FOCUS ON ISSUES PROMOTING COMMUNITY BUILDING, INCLUDING ISSUES AFFECTING GROWTH MANAGEMENT, INFRASTRUCTURE, NATURAL RESOURCES, EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE TRAINING. AS AN OREGON MUTUAL BENEFIT, NON-PROFIT CORPORATION, THE CORPORATION MAY ALSO PURSUE ANY LAWFUL PURPOSE UNDER THE OREGON NON-PROFIT CORPORATIONS ACT. FORM 990-EZ PART III, LINE 29, PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS: ACTIVITY OBJECTIVES ARE TO CREATE A UNIFIED BUSINESS VOICE IN CLACKAMAS COUNTY WORKING CLOSELY WITH OUR SEMI-PUBLIC BOARD TO ENSURE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND BUSINESSES ARE WORKING TOGETHER TO AFFECT CHANGE.
