Teapot Gardens
Teapot Gardens is a grassroots non-profit led by artists established in 2020 to foster a lifestyle of creation in paradise باغ ایرانی. We advocate for access to outdoor art education for communities of color in severely disadvantaged park neighborhoods like central LA. We share stories, traditions and foodways of minority cultures led by culture bearers. We co-create with our community to strengthen trust and build ownership pathways. Our purpose is to build a local creative economy that shares, supports, and spotlights the gifts of artists. We program community events in gardens because we believe in the power of paradise to unlock creativity and promote mental well-being.
