Living Free Animal Sanctuary
Living Free is a nonprofit animal sanctuary that saves dogs & cats whose time is up at public shelters. If one of our rescued animals cannot find a loving home, they are free to live out their lives here at the sanctuary. Our property boasts large outdoor dog runs, Give Life Park, catteries with protected open-air “catios”, breathtaking scenery, & wide open fields for the rescued mustangs & burros to run free. War Horse Creek at Living Free is an equine therapy program using rescued wild mustangs to assist veterans as they adjust to civilian life. Based around the “Collaborative Horsemanship” modality, our workshops give veterans the opportunity to master skills that often go dormant during their military tenure – empathy, patience, understanding, kindness & compassion.
