Build the Bench Inc

Follow Message Edit

Build the Bench provides an authentic space for political connectivity for people of color. We are rooted in artistic expression, strategic liberation, and value-based progression. Our goal is to create a new ecosystem for people of color to organize and mobilize in New York to gather, talk, teach, and build. Build the Bench is a networking and forward-thinking organization that creates a safe space for people of color to commune, convene, and advocate for issues that will make an impact on their communities. We recognize that politics is not the only source of influence in our communities. As such, we invite a diverse membership from the arts, entertainment, and all fields which we have historically looked to in order to shape our culture.
