The mission of NH&R is to support purebred Newfoundlands by: ● Providing breed education to prevent inappropriate acquisition of Newfoundlands, ● Providing advice and guidance to keep the Newfoundland in its current home, if possible, ● Accepting purebred Newfoundlands from shelters / humane societies / pounds / rescue organizations or those Newfoundlands that can no longer remain in their home for any reason, and ● Evaluating, treating, and placing a Newfoundland appropriately.
