The Youth Development Center’s mission is to INSPIRE, EQUIP, and GUIDE Urban Youth to LIVE! This mission is accomplished by providing an intensive after school remediation program for elementary students in grades 1 through 6 in Houston’s Greater Fifth Ward. Through technology-based instruction under the supervision of certified teachers, YDC’s students improve their literacy and math skills to become more successful students.
