Mediation is a voluntary process that empowers individuals to have a role resolving their own conflicts outside of Court. Although a Court may order parties to attend mediation it is up to the parties to create a settlement that works for their unique situation. Mediation may be the last opportunity to have a say in the outcome of your dispute before a judge or jury determines it for you.
