Hebrew Rest Cemetery Association New Orleans Hebrew Rest Cemetery Association is charged with the upkeep and maintenance of Hebrew Rest cemeteries in Gentilly and Dispersed of Judah Cemetery on Canal Street to serve the needs of members of Touro Synagogue and Congregation Temple Sinai as well as the Greater New Orleans Jewish community. Hebrew Rest Cemetery Association Inc. is coowned byTouro SynagogueandCongregation Temple Sinai. While its predecessors date back as far as 1827 the Association was formed as a nonprofit organization in 1959.
