River Mist Preschool provides high quality care and education for children ages 1-5 years in a rural environment, focusing on social emotional development and cognitive skill development. Our curriculum is nature based and we spend time outdoors on a daily basis. We serve a set of diverse families and work diligently to provide our children with a positive learning experience that encourages and nurtures their development. We use developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and a research based curriculum which supports our mission, providing high quality early care and education for young children in our community.
