We are a 501(C)3 NP that offers inner-city student athletes - FREE Sports Medicine - FREE On-Site Athletic Trainers -FREE Concussion Treatment The WCSMF is a NON-PROFIT charitable organiztion dedicated to providing economically deprived high school students with an opportunity to participate in interscholastic sports. Founded in 1994, is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to providing economically deprived high school students with an opportunity to participate in interscholastic sports, promote fitness, reduce the prevalence of obesity, have access to quality sports medicine care and services designed to improve health and ensure safety. We provide services at 23 schools and to 13,000 student athletes at NO COST to the student or school. Included; FREE Sports Medicine Injury Clinic, Concussion/Brain injury clinic, on-site certified athletic trainers, sports medicine coverage for major sporting events, 6-8 college scholarships per year, High School Student Sports Medicine/Athletic Medicine Mentoring Program, which includes CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.
