The Focus Of Our Efforts Every 90 minutes someone is diagnosed with ALS and another person loses their life to it. Though most cases occur in people between 40 and 70 years old with an average diagnosis age of 55 the disease can also strike individuals in their twenties and thirties. With a life expectancy of just 24 years ALS often appears without warning or family history making every moment precious and intensifying the emotional toll on individuals and families.
