EPIC is a NYC #theatre company that seeks to use the performing arts as a vehicle for social change for artists with developmental disabilities. #Neurodiversity EPIC is a nonprofit theatre creating opportunities in the arts for performers with disabilities. EPIC Players--"EPIC" standing for Empower, Perform, Include and Create--is a 501c3, non-profit theatre company that seeks to use the performing arts as a vehicle to empower individuals with developmental disabilities and pioneer increased inclusion in the arts. Through our inclusive mainstage productions, musical cabarets, original showcases, skills-based classes, and career resources, we hope to increase critical employment opportunities for our members, pioneer increased inclusion in the arts, and break down social stigmas surrounding neuro-diverse communities. EPIC is uniquely structured to include a company of neuro-typical and developmentally disabled artists for the enrichment of both the cast and the audience. EPIC seeks to create a "new normal" for inclusion in the arts.
