DBIP is studying the impact of providing direct cash, with no strings attached, to unhoused people living in Denver. We are delivering direct cash assistance to our unhoused neighbors in Denver. The Denver Basic Income Project is investing in people and their ability to succeed when given trust, hope, and a financial foundation. We are the first and largest project in the United States studying the impact of providing a guaranteed income to families and individuals experiencing homelessness. We have already deployed over $10.8 million to over 800 of our unhoused neighbors.
