Urban Tech is a social enterprise committed to changing the game in education by providing solutions UTC, founded in 1995, addresses the "Digital Divide" that has developed in the US between the underserved and more affluent members of society. Our offerings teach the full MS Office suite, Digital Audio and Computer Skills for Youth. Additionally, The Youth Leadership Academy (YLA) teachs teens critical life skills through a series of interactive modules using modern teen culture as the vehicle for learning. During the past 15 years, Urban Tech has established or facilitated training centers in over 700 communities across the United States. In addition, the Basic Computer Curriculum has been translated into Spanish to address the Hispanic community.
