Our Why Franklin and Grundy counties are nestled into the breathtaking Cumberland Plateau in southcentral Tennessee. Like so many proud rural communities opportunities have waned and poverty has risen in recent years. It is universally recognized that children in poverty often struggle with literacy. Early Literacy Ambassadors was founded in response to this great need for early literacy support.
