Angel is just one of many cats cared for by SAFE House. She, like many others, have been long-term fosters here because senior cats go overlooked more often than not when people are looking to adopt. We are committed to each and every one of the animals we rescue, even if that means caring for them for the rest of their lives. This means at minimum: -daily needs like food, litter, scratchers, toys and soft beds -annual vet appointments for checkups, vaccinations if needed, and senior bloodwork and urine screening -vet care if ill or injured Anyone who has ever had a pet knows how expensive it can be. Even with a rescue discount at the vet or pet stores, these expenses add up fast with so many animals to provide for. Please consider donating to help us continue to not only care for the ones we have already taken on, but to be able to take in more animals in need.
