Start 1 Spark believes every student should have access to the extracurricular programs offered at school so they can be a part of their school community. Through school extracurriculars, students develop skills necessary to thrive in adulthood such as leadership, communication, cooperation, and time management. Extracurricular activities are not a luxury but a foundation for relationships and mentorships that give a student a sense of belonging.

To her music is an emotional connection that can persuade people to shift their emotions. In her first year with the Jaguar music program she loves how all the instruments come together beautifully but still maintain their individual sound. As a member of the band she enjoys exploring other instruments besides the clarinet and hopes to learn the violin one day.
