Cinder is a big, beautiful boy with a heart as soft as his luxurious fur. At 10 years old and 18 pounds, this majestic Maine Coon is a gentle soul who’s been through a lot and is looking for a calm, loving home where he can feel safe again. Cinder spent most of his life with one special person—his mom. After losing her, he’s understandably cautious and scared, but in the short time he’s been with his foster, he’s already made huge progress. With patience and love, he now eats from our hands and allows us to sit close. He’s incredibly sweet and just needs someone willing to give him the quiet reassurance he needs. Cinder is declawed and had tail surgery as a kitten, which left him with a little nub of a tail. He needs regular brushing (at least every other day) to keep his gorgeous coat in top shape.
