TO RESEARCH AND DISSEMINATE THE PREVIOUSLY UNDOCUMENTED AND UNCELEBRATED HISTORY OF PEOPLE OF COLOR ON MARTHA'S VINEYARD, PROVIDE EDUCATION WHILE WORKING COLLABORATIVELY WITHIN THE COMMUNITY, AND TO DEVELOP A PHYSICAL TRAIL WITH RECOGNIZED SITES FEATURING INFORMATIONAL PLAQUES.
