Community Ready Corps Inc
Community Ready Corps (CRC) is a Black self-determination organization based in Oakland, California that has worked in the Black community locally and nationally for more than 20 years. Our work is organized around nine specific areas of self-determination: self defense and safety, economics and prosperity, education and competence, family systems and stability, traditions and ways, technology and efficacy, art and media, politics and governance and health and wellbeing. To meet our mission, we organize and build leadership across Black identities: elders, youth, members from different parts of the diaspora, and people with different documentation status, abilities, genders and sexualities.
