True Colors is more than a theatre company we are dedicated to forging new pathways to support Black creatives. Amplifying Black voices is central to our mission the Drinking Gourd consortium commissions and premieres works by leading Black Playwrights nationwide. Through The Next Narrative Monologue CompetitionTM we continue nurturing young talent by equipping students with the tools and mentorship to foster success.
