🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️The Sierra 5K Color Run last Saturday was a ton of fun. Dozens of 3rd-5th grade students from our Sierra Vista and Sierra Ridge Learning Centers had been training with staff members for eight weeks to get ready. Art From the Streets is proud to launch the second year of their Mobile Outreach Program, a powerful initiative that brings creativity directly to those who need it most. Working closely with community partners like Foundation Communities, AFTS offers meaningful creative sessions for individuals who are actively unhoused or have recently transitioned into housing. These moments of artistic expression help combat loneliness and foster a sense of belonging and community. How can you help?! AFTS is looking for volunteers to dedicate just 2 hours on one Friday per month at one of FC's outreach locations throughout Austin!
