Since 2020, Neighborhood House has provided $𝟴.𝟳 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 in rental assistance to families in King County. In 2024: 🔹𝟭𝟵𝟯 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 avoided eviction 🔹 𝟲𝟬 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 moved from homelessness into stable housing Housing is a human right. Housing and energy programs provided by Neighborhood House, Hopelink, Multi-Service Center, and Solid Ground to keep our neighbors housed and safe are at risk. Without these programs, our region will see more evictions, more energy shutoffs, and more people pushed into homelessness. Last week, the SE Seattle PEACE Coalition brought community members together for an inspiring evening at NewHolly Gathering Hall! 💬✨ “Keeping Our Kids Safe and Healthy” featured powerful conversations with Councilmember Solomon, Senator Rebecca Saldaña, and Lt. Michael Tietjen, along with a moving performance by the Double Dutch Divas and a motivational speech by Michael Passian of Walkaway City Collaborative.
