Save Our Seminary at Forest Glen (SOS) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1988 and incorporated in 1989 to advocate for the preservation of the unique, beautiful and historic buildings and landscape of the National Park Seminary. Save Our Seminary (SOS) is a volunteer, nonprofit membership organization formed by preservationists and concerned citizens in 1989 to marshal public and private support and resources to preserve this unique and endangered part of our historical and architectural heritage. SOS's ongoing mission is to communicate the history of the National Park Seminary and promote preservation and public enjoyment of its buildings, artifacts, and landscape. SOS carries out this mission by: 1) Supporting preservation of the buildings of the NPS Historic District, 2) Collecting, preserving, and restoring artifacts related to the history of NPS, 3) Preserving, protecting, and restoring the landscape of NPS including statues, trails, and other features, 4) Communicating NPS history through research, documentation, interpretation, and education, and 5) Promoting public awareness of, support for, and access to this beautiful and unique site.

Before it was housing, National Park Seminary was a resort, a school, and a military medical facility. Come learn about this beautiful campus’ storied history on this month’s guided tour. The tour will take place on April 26th starting at 1:00pm and last about two hours.
