Black Education for New Orleans - BE NOLA Black Is Brilliant Digital Syllabus Rooted in New Orleans rich legacy of Black educational excellence the Black Is Brilliant Digital Syllabus explores the transformative power of Black education through five essential themes Belonging High Expectations with Love Exposure Culturally Relevant Learning Legacy Cultural Retention and Rigorous Sight. Drawing from historian Robin D. G. Kelleys concept of freedom dreaming this resource celebrates the impact of New Orleans Black educators and institutions while examining current policy challenges.
