The purpose of the OPOA is to represent its members relating to employer employee relations and to safeguard the Rights, Benefits and Privileges of each member. TO PROVIDE LEGAL DEFENSE FUND FOR PEACE OFFICERS, LIFE INSURANCE AND LONG-TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE, MAKE COMMUNITY DONATIONS, SUPPORT SPONSORSHIP AND HAVE A POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE.
