Promoting faithful Classical Catholic education in Ireland for elementary and secondary students The Saints and Scholars Foundation helps support a new model of Catholic education in Ireland. We recognize the need for independent, lay-controlled schools that provide a classical curriculum to Catholic parents and students. Sustainable, independent, lay-controlled Catholic education in Ireland that is faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, that follows a classical liberal arts tradition, and that strives for excellence. Our main project is supporting the mission of Mater Dei Academy, an independent, Cambridge International Standards Certified school in Cork Ireland. One of only two schools obtaining this certification in Ireland. Mater Dei Academy students also have the opportunity to obtain the Irish Leaving Certification as external candidates.
