OUR MISSION The mission behind SISU Dark Horse is to eliminate barriers and provide equal opportunity to training and competitive opportunities in Combat Sports. SISU is a Finnish proverb that stands for relentless determination in the face of extreme adversity. We believe that by training and competing in combat sports young athletes can develop SISU which will allow them to overcome any obstacle or adversity they may face both in sports as well as any area of life. Benefits of Participating in Combat Sports MILITARY preparation When preparing for the military some sports and activities lay a solid foundation of fitness and mental toughness for the candidate or recruit.
